In his role as Audit Manager, Shanoor prepares statutory audits for a range of clients from different sectors including manufacturing, charities and schools.

He is also involved in the preparation of accounts and tax returns on behalf of both personal clients and corporations and takes pride in adding value to clients’ businesses by suggesting recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their procedures and processes.

His previous experience has included senior auditing positions with a number of accountants and in-house financial reporting and audit role with two well-known international investment banks.

Shanoor has also used his financial expertise to support a small East End-based charity, where he provided a valuable pro bono contribution to the local community.

Away from work, he enjoys relaxing with friends at the theatre or stand-up comedy venues.

With a background in industry, Wenetta understands the needs of businesses and is able to assist her portfolio of clients with a wide range of issues.

She works as an all-round accountant, providing a range of services from accounts preparation and VAT to self-assessment tax returns.

Wenetta is ACCA qualified but continues to develop her working knowledge in accounting and tax to ensure her clients get the best possible guidance.

Alex is the office manager at Wem & Co and an experienced accountant. He predominantly deals with client relations during the onboarding process, the setting up of new systems and general client enquiries.

Before working in the UK, he started his career at a well-known accountancy firm in Sri Lanka and gained several years of experience at Almarai Company, Saudi Arabia – a well-recognised fast-moving consumer goods brand in the Middle East.

Taking his experience from these roles, Mohamed offers a practical accountancy service and pragmatic advice to his clients, who benefit from his expertise in Xero, QBO and IRIS Suite.

With an eye to the future of the profession, Mohamed is always looking out for new solutions that will make clients lives easier while maximising profitability.

Seyyad is an experienced accountant with a passion for helping his clients flourish and thrive. He has experience working within many different sectors and the ability to work in challenging situations to deliver expert advice to his clients.

Atheek has more than twelve years’ experience in accounting, auditing and finance and has worked for a number of well-established organisations including one of the ‘big four’ accountants and a large international conglomerate based in Sri Lanka.

His role at Wem & Co includes providing efficient and effective accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT preparation and personal tax calculation services to a range of clients.

Atheek particularly relishes helping clients to explore global exposure opportunities and analysing business transactions which enables him to provide enhanced solutions to meet their needs.

Atheek is a Certified Business Accountant (CBA) and is both an Associate Member of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka (ACPM) and a Member of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka (MMAT)

In his spare time he enjoys playing cricket, football and watching thriller movies.

Nuwan is a qualified accountant, holding both a CFPA(US), Certificate in Purchasing Management and Certificate of Taxation (AAT).

He specialises in assisting both UK and international businesses. In particular he is renowned for his expertise in supporting a number of UAE-based clients.

In addition to providing management accounting, budgeting and bookkeeping services, Nuwan assists clients with selecting, implementing and utilising a a range of accounting software include, Xero Bookkeeping and MIS preparation, QuickBooks Desktop Version Bookkeeping, Power BI and SAP Bookkeeping.

Nuwan is currently working towards his membership of CIMA and away from work he has a passion for travelling.

Kamani previously worked as an auditor for a one of the ‘big four’ accountants in Sri Lanka and brings a wealth of knowledge, supporting companies across a range of sectors including manufacturing, finance, logistics, hospitality and IT services.

Her expertise in auditing, trade receivable management and working capital management provides our UK and international clients with first-class support.

Kamani’s strong organisational skills and her passion for helping clients to navigate the requirements of their regulatory and professional bodies ensures both compliance and added value insight into their operations.

Rimvyda provides administrative support to our clients and the Wem & Co team.

As a Bachelor of Law (LLB, Law and Customs) and with a background in customer services, she is an excellent communicator and utilises her expert organisational skills to provide our clients with first class support.

Having spent 29 years successfully operating as a private business partner at PwC, Nick is an experienced adviser with a passion for helping clients.

With a proven track record of serving a wide range of clients and an unrivalled breadth of technical expertise, he is a pre-eminent expert in many different fields.

Nick originally trained as an auditor but is now a leading authority in the taxation of private clients and owner-managed businesses – having been a tax professional for more than 37 years.

During his career, he has acted as a trusted adviser to dozens of high-net-worth individuals and has advised on over 250 private business transactions.

Outside of work, Nick is a regular skier and a keen supporter of the England cricket team.

Penny has excellent communication skills and works closely with our team to provide our clients with a prompt, seamless service.

She holds a BA in Finance, Accounting and Management and is an expert in both office management and investor relations.

Having previously worked in investor relations, she brings with her a wealth of knowledge, which she utilises to support our private investor clients.

Raneesha has a background in customers services, having worked as a customer support advisor in the banking and finance sector for the past five years. Prior to this, she worked in Dubai as an administration assistant for a busy vacation rental company.

She has excellent communication, IT and sales and marketing skills and uses her expert organisational skills to provide both our team and our clients with first class support.
