We are a well-established accounting practice seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager/Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a professional firm managing a team and providing a high level of service to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a Pod of up to 5 staff (1 part or fully qualified, 1 trainee and a couple of part or fully qualified Sri Lanka team members)
• Oversee the preparation and filing of up to 15 sets of statutory accounts and CT600’s per month dealing with all high-level queries + Client liaison
• Oversee and manage up to 10 VAT return per month
• Oversee/prepare management accounts for about 5 clients per month.
• Track turnaround time + WIP for your team
• Carry out 6 monthly appraisals of your team
• Oversee and deal with the queries relating to the preparation of the annual SA100 and track filings + billings

Requirements:

• Qualified or QBE Accountant with at least of 5-year experience in practice
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
• Ability to take initiative and work independently

We are looking for a full-time Audit Manager to join our growing team in West London. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and ambitious professional who wants to develop their career within a supportive, forward-thinking firm.

As Audit Manager, you will oversee all aspects of audit work, including accounts and tax preparation for a varied portfolio of SME clients. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards and delivering exceptional service.

What we’re looking for:
• Previous experience in an audit practice
• Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel occasionally for client assignments

Experience with My Work Papers is an advantage but not essential. Familiarity with Xero and Digita (Thomson Reuters) would also be beneficial.

Key responsibilities:
•Preparing audit and accounts working files
•Leading on-site audit assignments
•Supporting and mentoring the audit team
•Conducting audit work in line with agreed procedures
•Producing audit summaries and discussion points for managers/partners
•Working within agreed budgets and timeframes
•Preparing draft tax computations and disclosures
•Managing client deadlines and queries
•Handling ad hoc tasks as required

Qualifications & Skills:
•Audit qualified (or equivalent)
•Ambition to progress to Responsible Individual (RI) status
